/ BUS STOPS & PICK UP

WHERE WE’LL MEET YOU

We collect from most accommodation in Reykjavík. If you’re staying in the restricted city centre, we’ll meet you at a designated bus stop nearby.

Our tour van at a pickup point in Reykjavík

Reykjavík restricts large vehicles from many of the streets in the city centre. It applies to every tour operator in the city, not just us — so if your accommodation is inside that zone, we’ll meet you at one of the designated tour bus stops instead. It’s usually a few minutes’ walk.

This page covers our small-group tour. On a private tour we come to you, wherever you’re staying — including outside Reykjavík.

Where we can collect you

Staying outside the restricted centre but within Reykjavík? We’ll come to your accommodation.

Staying inside it? You’ll see it at the point of booking — hotels served by a bus stop are labelled with the stop number in the pickup list, like Storm Hotel by Keahotels — Pickup at Bus Stop #12. Whatever you select is what appears on your confirmation.

Staying in Kópavogur, Garðabær, Hafnarfjörður or Mosfellsbær? We can’t reach those on the small-group tour — you’ll need to meet us at a bus stop in Reykjavík, at the N1 petrol station at Ártúnshöfði, or at BSÍ Bus Terminal.

Driving yourself?

You’re welcome to meet us and leave your car. There’s parking at the N1 station at Ártúnshöfði, at Straumur 9, and at BSÍ Bus Terminal.

Pickup takes up to 30 minutes

This is the one thing worth reading twice.

Pickup begins at the tour’s start time and can take up to half an hour, because we’re collecting several groups from around the city. If your tour starts at 8 PM, we might reach you at 8:05 or at 8:28 — both are normal.

Be ready and outside from the start time, and give us the full thirty minutes before worrying. If we haven’t reached you by then, message us on WhatsApp at +354 888 8181.

Know which sign to look for

Tour bus stops aren’t the same as public transport stops. Look for this sign.

Finding your stop

The stops are the city’s, shared by every operator. If you want to check which one is nearest your accommodation, busstop.is will find it from your address.
