/ RE-TRY TOUR
COME BACK UNTIL YOU SEE THEM
If the lights don’t show on your tour, you come out with us again. Free, as many times as it takes, for up to four years.

Nobody can promise you the aurora. We won’t pretend otherwise, and we don’t think a refund is the right answer either — you came to Iceland to see the northern lights, not to get your money back. So we do the thing that actually solves it: you come out again, and again if you need to, until you see them.
How it works
If you join a small-group tour and we don’t see the northern lights, you’re entitled to a free re-try. Just get in touch and we’ll book you in.
Faint, low-level displays count as a sighting. We’re honest about that up front — not every night is the sky tearing open, and some of what we count is a soft band moving quietly overhead.
No limit on how many times
There’s no cap. If the second night doesn’t deliver, come out a third. In practice this is rare — most guests who use a re-try see the lights on their next attempt, and it’s very unusual for anyone to need a third.
Four years to use it
Your re-try is valid for four years from the date of your original tour. Use it the next night if you’re still here, or on a trip back to Iceland years from now. There’s no deadline to worry about and nothing to keep track of.
How to claim it
Email us, WhatsApp us, or send us a message through Viator, GetYourGuide or Airbnb if that’s where you booked. Include your booking number. It doesn’t matter where you originally booked — the re-try applies either way.
We may ask to see your original ticket or voucher. The re-try is yours and can’t be passed on to someone else.
What it doesn’t cover
Re-trys are subject to availability — there has to be a scheduled tour with a free seat, and rebooking is first come, first served. In practice we’ve almost always been able to fit people in on the night they wanted.
Private tours don’t include free rebooking. Only the small-group tour does.
And to be straightforward about it: there’s no refund for a tour where the lights didn’t appear. The re-try is what we offer instead, and it’s why we’d rather you took it than walked away disappointed.
